Know the month AI starts naming you.
Give us up to 3 questions your customers ask AI assistants. Every month we put them to ChatGPT and Perplexity again and email you whether each one named your business, and who it named instead.
What lands in your inbox.
Named or not, per engine
For each of your questions, whether ChatGPT and Perplexity put your business in their answer this month.
Who they named instead
The businesses each engine recommended in your place, taken from its own answer and checked word for word.
What moved since last month
From the second reading on, the email opens with the news: an engine that started or stopped naming you, and new names in your market.
A stop link in every email
One click ends it. There is no account to close, no password and nothing to cancel.
How it works.
You write the questions
Up to 3, phrased the way a customer would type them into an assistant, with your suburb or city if that is how people look for you.
You confirm by email
We send one email with a button. Nothing is watched, and nothing else is sent, until you press it.
We ask again every month
Each question goes to ChatGPT with web search and to Perplexity, asked from your country. It is the same live check our free audit runs, minus Google.
You get one short email
Your verdict for each engine and question, the names they gave, and what changed. Two minutes to read, then back to work.
What a reading can and cannot tell you.
AI answers change from one asking to the next. A reading is a dated snapshot of what each engine said on the day, not a permanent ranking. Three months of readings say far more than any single email, which is why Free Watch keeps going.
When an engine does not answer, the email says so. A missing answer is never counted as that engine leaving you out, and a name only appears as a rival when the engine's own words contain it.
Free Watch shows where you stand. It changes nothing on your website. When you want the work done, that is what our managed service is for, and this is how we work.
Common questions.
Is Free Watch really free?
Yes. There is no card, no trial and no account. We run it because owners who follow their AI visibility for a few months often decide they want help moving it, and by then they know where to find us.
Which AI engines does it check?
ChatGPT, using its web search, and Perplexity. Both look at the live web before answering, so what they say is close to what a customer asking that day would see.
How should I write my questions?
As a customer would ask them: plain words, the service, and the place if location matters. "Who is the best plumber in Parramatta?" tells you more than "plumbing services". Leave your own business name out, because the point is to see whether the engines think of you unprompted.
How often will you email me?
Once a month, about 30 days apart, plus a single email to confirm when you sign up. If an engine has an outage on the day, we try again the next day rather than send you a half reading.
What do you do with my email address?
We use it to send your readings and nothing else. We keep a record of when and how you agreed, as Australian law asks of any sender, and we never sell or share it. Every email carries a one-click stop link.
Can I change my questions later?
Stop the current watch from any of its emails, then start a new one here with the new questions. One email address can watch up to three websites.
How is this different from the free audit?
The free audit is one deep look: a score out of 100, how your site reads to AI, and the competitors named in your place. Free Watch is lighter and keeps going, asking your questions again each month so you can see whether anything moves.
